created page content but error of "page not found" no error message given

I created two content items, one using 'story' and the other using 'page'. I gave them URL redirects. I was able to preview content and submit it, but now it says page not found. Per my logs and the details found when clicked on error, same message is given but no additional description was provided.. just said page not found.

Any thoughts?

But I am using MySQL 4.1.9 and I did review the node table and it is set up correctly (per provided discussion link). I did verify that my Apache does take modRewrite and did make all applicable changes per the .htaccess file as indicated.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
