I updated Tribune to version 6.x-2.0-beta2. I works fine except when I make a new post, the text box turns red and the new post does not show up automatically in the list with the previous posts. The refresh worked fine in previous versions. Can you tell me how I can fix this?

SeeSchloss commentedBut after having posted a comment and then reloaded the page, does the comment show up? If so, it's probably a permissions problem (a bug in the module, actually), and updating to the current 2.x-dev should fix it (or you may wait for the next beta release, I'm just not sure when I'll have time for it).

ron collins commentedi had the same problem and updated from 1.10 to the latest dev release (2009-Jun-20). the problem remained but i "fixed" it by turning off the devel module which seems to break a lot of other modules for some reason.

wrwright commentedThe update to 2.x-dev fixed the problem. Thanks.

shunting commentedOn the red boxes:
I'm using tribune-6.x-1.10.tar.gz and D14 on a CentOS system with PHP5 and MySql had it working fine.
Turned on the devel module, and got the red boxes again.
Turned off the devel module, still, post, post disappears, red box appears.
Clearing the caches in the database makes the post appear, but the next post gets the red box again.
Refreshing the page makes the post appear, but the next post gets the red box again.
Under performance, block caching is OFF, but JS and CSS caching is ON.
I love this module! What am I doing wrong?

shunting commentedThe behavior:
Refresh, and wait about 30 seconds. With no mouse motion, the beachball cursor will appear, spin, and then the post box will turn red.

SeeSchloss commentedThese are usually caused by other JS errors from the theme or another module (and this issue is so old I'll just close it).
