Hello,
its really great package distribution of Drupal
but what about primary dropdown menu as suckerfish one - or presistent meny ?

The menu implementation is quite powerful in Drupal so there's really nothing we need to add there. You can create your custom, hierarchical menu and attach menu items to Topic Hubs. Since topic hubs are nodes, it is really easy to do. The only thing to do then is to theme the menu any way you like it. As a matter of fact - there're plenty of Drupal modules that can even do it for you, some of which you mentioned yourself. Another very good one is: http://drupal.org/project/nice_menus
Either way, specifics of theming menus is probably out of scope for OpenPublish and is a matter of concrete implementation.
