anoopjohn commentedIs there a dev version going to be available soon? I might be able to contribute to the development if there is the possibility of a working D6 release soon as I have a drupal hotel reservations project waiting.
Cheers
Anoop

priceline commentedCan someone provide details about the development? Is it under development, at all? If not, we can initiate the D6 migration and finish it asap as we need this functionality for one of our client. Please update us the proceedings. Thanks,

caktux commentedHi guys,
Sorry for the wait, just did an initial import of the module so you can start to get your hands dirty ;)
At first I was waiting for marcingy for some feedback and to help on a few features I left out, then I just got too busy with too many things. Again, sorry for the delays, I guess I didn't realize how much interest there was in the project (and didn't follow my Dissues either...) :|
So, I haven't really re-checked the whole thing before committing it but it should be in a working state by now (I hope i didn't commit any compromising to-self comments...). I think there's a few openresort tables that don't get cleaned up, 'cos I stayed on the safe side at first... many, many things left to do still, so don't hesitate on starting issues :)
See you around
caktux

philingle commentedits there in the cvs to try out. check out http://drupal.org/node/321 for instructions on cvs,
you want to cd to the modules directory
e.g. from your site root
cd sites/all/modules
then run this command
cvs -z6 -d:pserver:anonymous:anonymous@cvs.drupal.org:/cvs/drupal-contrib checkout -d reservations contributions/modules/reservations

Anonymous (not verified) commentedThanks caktux for starting this off! I'd love to see this finally get upgraded.
I've only had a quick look, this patch just cleans up some warnings. Hopefully I'll have time to keep them coming.
Looks good so far though. I'd like to get the unit types back in as it's needed for hotels. btw, do you have any plans for what features you want to keep/ditch, or anything in particular you want help with?

giorgoskI would love to help test/debug this as well as I will need this for
hotel/accommodation clients of mine
tell us the areas you need help with ...
here is a similar module depending on UC that behaves very nicely
http://www.ubercart.org/forum/development/9166/hotel_module
but its far from complete ... its missing a lot of basic features ...
if your booking will be based on days (as opposed to hours in a day)
then you should have a look at it (availability was based on http://drupal.org/project/availability_calendars)
