2) which is maximum size of uplodable files?
3) can I upload catalog files of my clients (obviously with them agreement) on my site?

Yes, this is good question.... are there any size restrictions? and if you user uploads some files, do they go on your server or mine?

upload size is about 4mb....and no, they do not go on your servers (they to our instances on amazon). Would you be interested having uploads go to your servers?

Today Aug 2009 I noticed that upload size limit is now increase to 5MB.
