Newsletter module with email sign up

Hi, does anyone know of a newsletter that has a block where you can sign up by just entering an e-mail address? I have simplenews installed but it only has a subscribe button (no box to enter e-mail address). I want users that are not registered with the site to be able to sign up for the newsletter. Can anyone suggest a good module for this?

enable permissions for anon users to use simplenews and I believe they are presented with an email field in a simplenews block.

Mime Mail for sending Newsletter not compatible with 6.12

Hi, Simplemail is a great module that provides the simple functionality I need for people to sign up for a newsletter on my sight. BUT the MIME Mail module that is required to send the email is not compatible with 6.12.

Do I have any options other than exporting my list and sending through another service outside of my site?

did you try the mimemail 6.x-dev release?
