FTP and Hosting , boost performance ?

Hello everyone

I have a 1 gb hosting ftp and 10, two separate accounts of each other. I put the drupal hosting account and my pictures on my ftp 10 giga.

Is it that with this procedure, I really gained in performance? . Do you have another little trick to share the burden? .

Given the number of answers, I do not think this poses a problem.

Does the image cache module is recommended, and good return
