video_scheduler gives error when run on command line

I'm running the latest Drupal 5.18 and just downloaded the latest compatible version of the video module.

when I run the video scheduler script from the command line I get the following error

hosting:/srv/drupal5/htdocs# /usr/bin/php5 video_scheduler.php example.org

Notice: Undefined index: REMOTE_ADDR in /srv/drupal5/drupal-5.18/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 757

also, when video is uploaded I get a web page displaying "This video is currently being processed. Please wait"

but it never gets processed.

Please advise
