Description

Normal users cannot edit book content. Link doesn't show as tab and direct link says access denied. I have tried to set all access rights as grant to all roles.

With admin user (userid = 1) editing works fine. With biblio version 6.x-1.0 editing worked.

This has been fixed in the -dev version (see http://drupal.org/node/486312) and that fix will propagate to the next release.

I just downloaded the latest dev version and still have this problem. Admins can edit biblio articles. My user class of "Editor" cannot, although they have the same permission as admins. I'd greatly appreciate any help. You're welcome to have an account on my server if you'd like to test.

Obvious questions but I have to start somewhere...

  • Did you gave your "Editor" the "edit all biblio entries" permission?
  • Does the user in question have the "Editor" role?

I just tested it again on my server with a regular account and it works for me.

Yep, I just triple-checked, and permissions are identical (all checked) between Editor and Admin. And my Editor account definitely doesn't work while my Admin one (which is not user #1) does.

I'm happy to give you an Admin account on my server to evaluate directly. Thanks!
