There is no support for caching, downloading in the middle of files (private mode)?
FileRequest module gives some of these features, but it's acritical & it must-have feature. Hope to see that in the next 4.7 beta.

4.7.0 is in a feature freeze so I'm changing this to CVS since it is unlikely anyone will tackle this for 4.7.

Also, I disagree about this being a critical feature. If you disagree please provide evidence that shows how a large number of users are negatively impacted by not having this feature.
