Module enabled but not showing up

Issue Summary

I've enabled the module and then went to look for any further settings in user permissions and module administration but did not find anything. I looked at the Organic groups configuration area and went into the content types but did not see a group events type. Did I miss something? I'm using version 5.x-1.0 of event module and version 5.x-7.3 of the OG module.
