Hi All

I am keen to encourage the use of the forum on a Drupal site. I know the current forum module does not containt features like thread subscription, and wondered what people though the best options for implementing a really good forum are? Are there any patches available to add extra common functionality? I notice the UIEForum module looks very comprehensive. Can anyone comment on this?

there is also the flatforum theme that includes some CSS and a module for creating a phpBB look... Look under the themes page for the package. Also check out the Subscriptions module for thread/forum subscription capability. Have not messed with the UIEForum, but if you are using 4.7, that won't be an option (right now anyways..). Hope that helps..
