Attaching a previously loaded file to a node is quite clumsy
The "Browse" button lauches the file_gallery browser, not the normal file_browser.
This might be OK for images, but not appropriate for numerous files where the name is more important than the thumbnail.

Whould it be possible to allow browsing attachment using the file_browser?

By the way, this is a fantastic module! I was looking for decent file handling in Drupal, here it is...

There are ideas of combining both gallery and browser into a one widget which would show a folder tree structure in one panel and the thumbs of the files of the selected folder in the other, but don't know when/if it will happen...

What about this idea?
Wouldn't be simple to allow the use of the file browser as a selector (even better: keeping in memory the last selection place...)
The gallery selection is really weird.
