I'm using the forum, and finding that my users tend to hit reply on the last message rather than the overall topic. This is causing the replies to be displayed in ever increasingly smaller widths, until barely a word can fit on a single line.

Can anyone tell me how to make it so that replies to forum topics does not reduce the width of the post?

Under /admin/comment/configure choose Flat-List.

I am not the topic starter, but when I chose the option of "Flat list - expanded" the newest replies are now being displayed at the top instead of at the bottom. I would like it the other way around (the standard way that most forums work such as phpBB).

Where might I find "flat list" in D6 to change the configuration? I can't find comment/config

Comment settings are configurable for each Content Type. You'll find the settings at: admin/content/node-type/content type

I actually just found it 10 mins ago :-)

I went to admin/content type/forums and then changed the setting in comment settings. Thanks!
