brakes other page components when in a block and using css or javascript optimizing

I use this great module in a block to display some fields from the user's profile. When I enable css optimizing (in the performance settings), the page layout breaks, some css information seems to get lost (theme: simply_modern). When I enable Javascript Optimizing, the Javascript in other parts of the page gets confused. For example the drag and drop reordering of fields shows strange behaviour.
