Corrupted form buttons on re-editing node

I find that when I reopen a story node for editing, click on view in the autosave bar, I get the corrupted form buttons that you can see in the attached image. Disabling TinyMCE had no effect. Changing the theme also made no difference. Any thoughts? The issue seems similar to http://drupal.org/node/308239, but that thread seemed inconclusive.

cool.. while i was redoing D5 version to get MY rel of D6 version (6.x-2.x) i came across the same issue.
this is fixed in 2,x rev; so will mark as closed
