Can the confirmation message popups be disabled?

I just watched your screencast (it was down to Popups vs. FancyBox) and noticed that it takes *more clicks* to create a custom block with Popups then it does without, all because I have to click to get rid of the confirmation messages that appear. I would consider that a step backwards.
