Scheduling the publication of a submission requires that, besides the regular settings like 'Promoted to front page', tuning the settings under 'Automatically post document'(*). This comes down to marking the checkbox 'Enabled' and setting the appropriate date and time.
Problem: if, after/during the writing of content, you (need to) preview, the settings commited under 'Automatically post document' are lost. The checkbox is unchecked again and the time settings are reset to the current time.
(*) Note that there are actually two of these settings, one of which should be labelled 'Automatically hide document'.
Preliminaries:
- At least this is for static page submissions
- At least this is with obligatory preview
- This is with Scheduler 4.3.0.
Steps to reproduce (assuming scheduler.module has been enabled):
- Click create content, static page
- Check 'Published', 'Promoted to front page' and 'Static on front page'.
- Check 'Enabled' at first instance of 'Automatically post document' and set a time one hour ahead of the current time.
- Write something in title and body field
- Click preview.
- Verify the settings under the first instance of 'Automatically publish document' with the settings you just set up.
Temp. solution: If this cannot be repaired, then at least the documentation should state that you should not create settings for scheduling until just before the final submission.

TDobes commentedThis appears to be fixed in 4.4 and CVS.

eric-alexander schaefer commentedThe issue you just reopened was closed more than 6 years ago. Also it was for an entirely different version which is now long forgotten. Scheduler 4.3.0 and Scheduler 6.x-1.7 do not share a single line of code.
Please create a new issue and state your problem a bit more elaborate.
Thanks.
