Description
I noticed that the "My bookmarks" menu item is displayed only in the default language. I have one site in German with English as second language and I have "Meine Lesezeichen" even when the user's language is English. Vice versa on my install with English as default and German as second language.
Shouldn't "My bookmarks" behave like "My Account" or "My blog" and switch to the correct language automatically? The menu item is set to "Language:All languages".
Am I missing something or is this a bug?

#1
I narrowed it down a bit. Translating the menu item with i18n and translation table works well as far as the menu is not part of a panel page. On panel pages the menu item stays in its original language. I suspect it to be a bug of Flag because with all the other menu items I don't have any problems not even on panel pages (Panels3).
#2
Title change to reflect the specific Panels 3 aspect.
#3
Could this problem be caused by the translation of "My Bookmarks" within flag.views_default.inc? If it's being translated within the View configuration, that might be causing issues when it's translated a second time by Panels.

I am going to try this patch tonight/tomorrow. Thanks for the fast reply.

Soory, sorry, sorry!
I applied your patch soon after my last post but forgot to report back. The patch was applied without problems yet didn't solve the problem at hand. Still the menu item is not translated on panels pages.
I retestet it with the latest beta of Panels and CTools and the problem persists.

I am setting this casually to fixed. It seems to work (unpatched!) on one site since the last upgrade of panels and ctools. The site were it isn't working is quite messy so the misbehaviour might come from somewhere else.
I'll monitor this and reopen if the problem shows its ugly face again.

Scratch that. It worked this morning but now it is back to its old behaviour. Cannot make out a cause but it is definitely still there.

There have been no confirming reports of this bug, so I'm moving to closed. If the problem still exists please reopen, though I have no idea what could be wrong, and since I don't use Panels, I don't anticipate this getting fixed (if it's a problem at all) unless a patch can be provided.
