Are Cron and SMTP required in Drupal?
And what about the Drupal Hosting, can I have FTP that I have the control on my page and that I can add modules and themes in the FTP?
Please help me!
SMTP and CRON aren't
SMTP and CRON aren't required, however some modules/features may require it. Lots of cPanel hosting providers have this functionality built in, so that shouldn't be too much of a concern for you.
As for FTP, you'll be able to upload themes and modules through FTP.
