My nonprofit has a list of a couple thousand email addresses. We want to have Drupal send an email newsletter every month to every email.

I've looked at SimpleNews but it requires registering a user for any email. I found Email Registration module but it still requires password registration

Is there some way/trick of removing this and make it as simple as going to site, inputting email, clicking subscribe and then you're in the mailing list?

Apparently when the box at Site Configuration>Simplenews>Subscription>"Synchronize with Account" is unchecked it no longer requires any user registration. The wording of this option looked ambiguous to me, but I'm still ashamed I didn't play with the settings a bit.

How did you handle the required subscription link? I have the same situation of a list of emails that need to be added, but I don't want to have all the recipients have to click the confirmation emails.
