i have checked everything that i can think of to check in the administration area of the site, but as the topic says... my user/login block disappears upon logging in. the rendered source code of the page returned shows no code added where the block should be. i have scoured everything i can think of to scour for a solution to this and do not see one anywhere, and yes the block is enabled in a region defined in my theme (or else i could not login)...
it was there, then suddenly the next time i went to a new page it was just gone...i managed to find this on one other site posted with no responses at the following location:

has anyone else experienced this issue or does anyone know how to fix it? or what i might check to fix it?

fix what? why would the login block need to be shown when you are already logged in?
Thats the intended result for all sites with a login block. YOu login, you are recognized as logged in and the block to login is removed as it's no longer needed.
login here on drupal.org and the login block removes itself. goto facebook.com login and the login area is gone.
Would there ever be a reason to login more than once? with the same user?
no, the login form itself has
no, the login form itself has always gone away and been replaced by a block that has the same title as the username, and has several other menu items for navigating the site, working with your account profile, etc.

That would be the navigation block, check administer -> menus and make sure the navigation menu is still there
check administer -> blocks and ensure that the navigation block, which holds the navigation menu is still enabled where you expect it.
Thank you
Thank you verymisunderstood... I assumed that it was the login block showing that information, but it is indeed navigation...
You guys have been great. Thanks for all the responses.
just try to log out again and
just try to log out again and it shows perfectly, or maybe authenticated users don't have the permission to show login box? can it possible?
but if you want to login just go to http://yoursite.com/user
hope that will help
