Select List Limit by role?

Hi to all =),

Just want to ask, is there a module or any way to limit the selected values of a list by role?

This is what I want to do:
-Use taxonomy terms in a selection list and add a limit to the values a user can select based on his role.

I've already used content_taxonomy for the selection list but sadly the limit option they have is global. Is there a way to 'hack' this?
