Hi,

I'm running a site on Drupal 6.12 and have unchecked the user settings option "Require e-mail verification when a visitor creates an account".

I would expect then, after a new user registers on the website, they are then logged into the website. Instead, my users still have to login.

For the life of me, I cannot work out why... Any ideas?

I recently inherited a server from a client with this issue. Only on this one server does this issue arise. However, I can't see anything obvious that would be the cause of this. Does anyone know of a server setting that would cause this issue?
