It was working 100% an hour ago. Then I made my own smilies & now its a horrible mess!!
Not all my posts are like this only some (too many in my opinion), I like my smilies, but I don't like having hundreds of them randomly popping up all over the place!

Any help would be great,

Did you just enable the smilie module, or is out of the blue after several months of clean operation? If so, have you changed anything in particular on your site? Themes, mods, you know?

I have had Smilies working for several weeks now & today all I did was go into smilies under admin & delete the old ones & added my own.

I just deleted them off my other site (had them linked) to make them go away & now I'm left with:

Rob fixed it, YAY! Turns out it some how messed up the cashe & it spewed the smilies all over the site for whatever reason.

I'm gonna test the smilies out on a test site to see if it'll repeat the cashe error, if not, then I'll put them back onto my site, which I REALLY want smilies on!
