I was just uploading a module (not yet activated) on my site www.forniture-alberghiere.net hosted on very cheap VPS of wwwversaweb.com when I go in all pages a mountain of errors, generally all to the same line, and after about 10-20 mnutes afte tell this to techical support all is disappeared totally again after about 3 hours. What is happened? Do you think that my files and db are lost or not?

After about 3-4 hours was coming back the line, and then my system admin has adjusted this DB error, I don't know how, but he adjusted it in less o a minute.
so what was the fix?
we are getting this now. the vps host insists its our code. we are also getting it in conjunction with:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare timer_start() (previously declared in drupal-5.10/includes/bootstrap.inc:116) in /476/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 43
this all started after our vps supposedly ran out of space.

I don't know how my sys administrator patched it, but I also remember that close to that period I was near to end space too
server caching
I had the same problem. Turned out the problem was that the server OS was an a recursive loop. Resolution was hard re-boot of the server. Five min. later all was fine.
