Integration with buddy list

Description
It would be a great feature to be able to "share this page" with your buddy list. This would be a great community builder for sites with hundreds or thousands of pages. I've attached a possible screen shot. In this particular scenario it would be nice if the buddy list would auto populate from the buddy list as you typed, for example, in my buddy list I have many buddies and 2 that start with "j". When I type in "j" my 2 buddies names appear and I could select them to go into the proper field.
As a side note, if this is not something that is seen by the developer of this module as something that they would like to implement, I would be willing to pay a module developer to do this for me.

I like this idea, but will need some time to implement it (don't have much experience with buddylist). Any help with patches or good example of other modules that do this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you like the idea and are considering it. I think it would be very valuable!!
I wish I could help with a patch (lol, I have a hard enough time with the basics!).
I did a search and and it doesn't look like anyone is doing anything similar with buddy list.
As mentioned, I would be willing to pay for your time. I am currently using Drupal 5.x but will be upgrading to 6.x close to the end of this year. I have to stick with 5 for now because we are running a module written for the site that is only compatible with 5.x for now
