There's some input information below the tribune that I really don't need.

Specifically:
The maximum length for a message is 512 characters
You can format your message using some HTML tags. The allowed tags are , , , and
URLs will be converted to links, but make sure you start them with "http://"

How do I turn them off?

I'm not going to display such info on 7.x-3.x, and for the other versions my advice would be to use CSS to hide it (overriding the form might work too, I'm not sure).
