I've noticed that when I follow the forum links in the OG menu, the context remains on the forum list and the topic list pages, but when you view a thread directly, the group context goes away, taking all the OG blocks with it.

I have a different 5.x site with og and og forums set up, and it retains group context when viewing a thread directly just fine. What's up with the 6.x version?

Ok, I'm obviously tired. Forgot to specify that the forum post content type was allowed to be posted in groups. Obviously there's no group context if it's not posted in a group... sooo... problem fixed.
