I analyse the node table.
I analyse a custom table.
I make a relationship between keys from each (using nid for example)
Now, when I go into views, it would be cool to create a view on my custom table and be able to add a _node_ Relationship.
To be fair, I'm sort of playing with the module here. Trying to see if I can simply have a custom table in my site, with a relationship to the node table, and use tw to give me some views goodness without writing any code. It's not quite working -- but that is OK I know this is not really what you'd do in a data migration like Cyrve does.
I'm probably not going to follow up on this though, I'm just experimenting. So mark "Won't fix" if you like.

mikeryanThis ability was just committed yesterday : #426650: Allow relationships to other views-enabled tables, and is in the new 1.1 beta release - please try that release. If it doesn't work for you in that release, that's a bug - please describe exactly the steps you're taking in setting up the relationship and attempting to build a view between tables.
