How to add a page / story content in a block?

Hi there,
I'm new to drupal. just wondering how can put a page / story content in block e.g. to content to left, right or footer block etc.

Dear Navi

Welcome to Drupal,

Instead of creating a page/story , you can directly go to the block and create a new block after adding a new block , just click configure at the right side of the block there you can see the editor or text area where you shall type your contents ,

And then by making it to display in the required region as your wish, you can able to position your content,
