jwolf commentedI'm not sure what you mean by banner choices. Could you clarify what it is that you are try to do?
sonobor commentedIf you drill down to the theme editor: administer / site building / theme / configure
There you can configure the theme with the menu. At the very bottom there is a dropdown called "banner" with a choice of background images. I've installed and uninstalled and looked over the permissions but something is wrong. The menu doesn't update.
Thanks for any suggestions.

jeremycaldwell commentedHi there nowxcom, it does work in the 2.x-dev version. Here's a link to it: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/acquia_slate-6.x-2.x-dev.tar.gz
Be sure to delete your existing Acquia Slate folder and put this one in it's place. I've tested it locally and it works just fine. You change the banner on the theme settings page for Acquia Slate (/admin/build/themes/settings/acquia_slate). Then under "Theme banner" you can choose a different image to appear as the background for the mission statement and preface first region on the homepage.

webservant316 commentedI just installed acquia_slate 6.x-2.x-dev, assigned a banner and I am not seeing it. What am I doing wrong? The theme looks great in the picture, but I can't seem to display the banner picture out of the box.
Also does this theme have drop down menus for the primary menus? How do I turn them on?
One last thing, in normal view the blocks have nice stylish borders around them, but on the admin pages there are no borders. Is this expected?

jeremycaldwell commented@webmaster_prwa, please create a new issue where your questions can be answered since just one of them relates to the original issue here. I am closing this one for now so you can add the issue as it's own where we can address it. Thanks.
