Could there be a file_move hook? Unfortunately, Filefield did not implement any file_move hooks. Should this be done in Filefield or possibly integrate/require the hook_file backport?

Of course, this is a problem only in D6. This allows for integration with Imagefield_crop, for example.

Hi chrisirhc,

While I understand that there may be instances where a hook_file_move() may be useful, at this stage I believe that is outside of the scope of the FileField Paths module and would be likely to complicate matters unnecessarily, although this is just my gut feeling on the matter.

Imagefield_crop already works with the latest development build. If it is not working, it's possibly a new issue that would need to be looked into.

For the moment I will mark this as closed, but if you have more information on the request, or would like to discuss it further and sell me on the idea I would be more than happy to listen.
