Apologies for lack of contact - it's been a busy summer with other projects, I'm afraid. And now it's going to be a busy week at DrupalCon Paris, but it should also be very instructive. If you're going to be around at all this week, let me know...
Hello Matkeane,
Apologies too. I found a job as webmaster, so my project became less urgent instantly in the middle of July. And since then I was tracking for updates on drupal.org less than ever. But my project is still alive! I think that VBO and Rules modules were updated and became more and more useful regarding our project...
That's strange - Dries keeps telling us that Drupal has made the webmaster extinct!
I agree with your comments - there was a really good presentation at Drupalcon Paris by the Rules developers where they demonstrated at break-neck speed the kind of thing you can do with it. Just need to finish a bunch of Gmap and KML stuff and I can start looking at VBO...
Sorry for my being so late, once again, but I was so busy with my job. I think I will go on with my project in January, with still another job but a little more time and energy safe ; well I hope so. The more I think about this, the more I am convinced it would be best to study and follow then use and support an existing module (or combination of modules). I can't imagine that our needs are not shared by many others developpers or project leaders... That's why I suggest we first update our knowledge on modules like Rules and VBO. Merry Xmas, Mat.
Hi,
I'm basically having a similar, but different problem as yours. I've read parts of The Document and I'm wondering how far the work has come on the module?
My scenario is outlined in Taxonomies limited by parent node taxonomy. It is basically a request for a dynamic way to limit the available sub-tree for taxonomy selection in a node based on a referenced node.
I'm just replying to say "subscribe" and also to ask if my scenario would fit into your module as a special case?

Also Subscribing...
Hope you had a great Christmas and New years!
I've been looking around for a way of implementing similar functionality in a site I'm developing - wondering if there has been any progress?
