Aggregator 2 for 4.7?

The aggregator2 module has been great on my site using 4.6. Does anyone know if this will be coming out for 4.7?

I have been looking at this module and have been facinated by it. But the reason is because I can't figure out if what it does is good or not.

Does not this module just reblog? Isn't this considered to be a faux paux and might kill your sites Google or Yahoo standing?

Does anyone know more about this?
