i should have installed it to the site without the /drupal part and now I know that. However, what do I do now? I suppose I need to either zip the drupal files and transfer them to a new drupal installation which I dont know how to do or can i somehow change this without having to do that? Please help!

Move your hosting to siteground. Go Daddy isn't really equipped to host php/mysql type websites. Yeah, they can do it but the support is minimal and the sites run very slow. Move your hosting to siteground. For the few extra bucks its well worth it. The speed of your Drupal site hosted on siteground versus Go Daddy is like comparing an Indy 500 race car to a Volkswagen Beetle.

Copy all the files from the /Drupal folder to your root folder. Open your settings.php file and edit the "Base URL" to exclude "/Drupal" part and you should be good to go.
