Description
I am using zero point theme. I am able to get the DDB work in advanced mode.
However it works only in IE 7 and not in FF (v.3.0.11) & in Google Chrome (2.0.172.33).
I also have ubercart on this site.
These are all on my PC local host.
FF & GC only display the grey box with the pager text properly; only the pictures are missing.
I have this installed on different sites on my PC in different themes but it is working fine!
Please suggest!

If it works in IE7 but not in FF and GC your template.php file is OK.
I would first look in FF with firebug if the image tags are there in the HTML code. If they are there where do they point to.
Also have a look if there are javascript errors.
It's difficult to guess for me what is the issue especially because it works in other themes and in other browsers and I don't have an Internet site to look at.
It''s not really dynamic display block module code related. More your installation.
Hope you can find out what causes the issue, please let me know.

In FF & gC it is displaying the grey box for pictures (the pager and slider text is also visible), but no pictures.
I tried changing the fid statements (4 to be precise) in the template.php file.
I will post it up on phoolwalay.com in an hour so that you can preview.

From what you describe, it looks like that you have to change the image_field name in the preprocess function like you tried. The strange thing is that you say it works in IE7 (which suggest the image_field name is correct in the preprocess function).
Will have a look at the Internet site later.
If you uncomment the drupal_set_message line in the proprocess functions I can tell you what the field_name needs to be.
Will see later when you have it on the Internet site, sure we can solve it.

It is on the site phoolwalay.com!
I checked it with both Image Cache presets and without them; it is only appearing in IE (7) and not in FF or gChrome.
Please also tell me what preset of Image Cache to use (I am using 400x300 scale n crop; however the pictures are getting chopped from top and bottom). Without the presets the pictures are appearing stretched out horizontally.
Can you tell me the max size DDB can display; I used it on my local pc and the max it could display was 500 - 600 pixels (depsite Image Cache presets of 800x600).
Thank you so much for your prompt responces!

I think you are logged in differently in IE and FF an Google Chrome. I don't see <img /> tags in all browsers.
Maybe you use the content permissions submodule of CCK and did not give permissions for the imagefield to anonymous.
Advisable is to set the preset the same size as the slideshow space.
You should be able to set the preset sizes like you want.
Using image sizes optimized for the slideshow is the best.
Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

It is a site in development.
The image cache presets are open for all (annony plus registered user).
The content type & particular view were created using the exports from the DDB module!
Permissions are also open for DDB for annonymous as well as registered user.
Please pass me your email so i can forward the log in as well as pass (mine is "webmaster@phoolwalay.com").

Please download zeropoint-6.x-1.5. It was a CSS conflict with other modules. I hope this has solved the issue.

DDBlock is an amazing module & Philip is doing an amazing job maintaining it. He provides an amazing service for ensuring that it works right!
I was not able to view the pictures in DDB, as the content field permission module (part of CCK) was not given permissions to display fields for non authorized (guests). Once the permissions was granted, it worked all right. Another way is to turn of this module unless it is really required.
Zeropoint & Devavrata are two exceptional themes; with them this module excels. Especially devavrata, where there are almost unlimites possibilities for displaying it in ways that literally change the look & feel of your site!
