I am looking to use Drupal Core Forum /Advanced Forum for my site - but I need to know if Drupal Forums Support Attachments ? I cant find a feature list for Drupal Forums ..
Also, I am looking ideas if i would be able to post into Advanced Forum using email as explained at http://drupal.org/node/40777

You marked your post as Drupal 7, though you should use 6... 7 will not be released until around 2010.
Yes, forum topics are nodes like all other content, so they support attachments in the way every node works. If you want attachments also on the replies, then you would need Comment Upload module. This applies to both core forum as well as Advanced Forum (which expands on top of the core forum). I don't know anything about posting via email so can't help with that question.
