Nodes to front page

Hi there,

Things seem to work as expected, except in the case of nodes published to the front page. Are there separate settings for that somewhere?

The permitted user can view the node, but not the node as published to the front page. All that user sees is the out-of-the-box front page that prompts you to post something.
