The basics:

Drupal Version 4.6.5
TinyMCE Module Version 4.6.0
TinyMCE Engine Version 2.0.3 (currently)

Well this is my last resort I've googled and browsed the forum but haven't found anything to solve my problem yet, so I hope someone can help me.

I've installed many other modules in my drupal installations without any problems at all, but this one is not so helpful. I have installed the TinyMCE module (and engine) according to the instructions but can only get as far as enabling it. Logging into drupal as an administrator and trying to go to the modules section to enable it just displays a blank page, with "done" in the status bar. However, removing the TinyMCE from the module directory and dropping the TinyMCE tables allows me to then view my modules page without any problems again.

All I can say is help!?!?

well not likely of much use to you.. but i just did the install of Tiny with all the same versions you just listed. Did this just yesterday and it all seems to work fine.

I only did what was listed in the install.txt; nothing special.

Did you make sure to have the tiny engine installed inside the tiny module folder? And sure you got the 4.6 version of the module.

I also did install on 4.7 (with 4.7 mod and same tiny engine - and this works as well.

just thought i'd at least let you know that you have a valid lineup of versions.

good luck,
peter..

Thanks, glad to know I'm not doing anything drastically offcourse then :) shame I can't get mine to work though.

The engine is definitely a sub directory of the TinyMCE module directory and I have found several versions of the module, but I'm sure I'm using the 4.6 version.

Nothing's ever easy is it? :)

Additionally I have also tried version 1.4.4 of the TinyMCE engine that several forum posts suggest as alternatives to the newer release, that gives the same result unfortunately.
