Hi Jeff,

again: thanks for your great genesis starter theme.
I'm currently building a site on your subtheme and came across the problem that IE6 does not display transparency. There are some methods around to fix this and I think it would be a good idea to add it to the base genesis theme as well so every user can benefit from it and doesn't have to add it on his own.

I have used Supersleight quite a bit in the past, so I think its most interesting its been rewritten as a jQuery plugin - I think this is worth of inclusion, frankly I have been trying to avoid it since it does always bring issues in itself. However, if its well documented that should not be a problem (think that I have few support requests for this theme, and I like that:).

Bascially I think this is a good inclusion, but slightly concerned its still beta, but did you read the comments, one guy posted an improvement so it works with input type=image, now thats cool.

Great to hear that you are willing to include it. This would solve some big problems because my subtheme contains many transparent background PNG's. So without willing to do pressure on you: can you imagine when to put it in the genesis base theme? (and I would absulutely accept the standard answer: "when it's finished" ;-) )

Yea, its going to be when its ready, needs quite a lot of testing and so on, if the jQuery solutions bork anything we'll need to look elsewhere so its not just a matter of putting it in and releasing a new version.

I someone does it and submits a patch I would be more than happy to test it, right now I am pretty flat out so it would not be for at least a couple of weeks.

@culfin, I have been running the jQuery supersleight png fix on http://adaptivethemes.com for about a month now, it wasnt perfect, probably because of the way I am layering transparent images over one another, so for IE6 I had to override several of the transprencies with solid color - which looks ok and I am happy with it. So far so good, I think its a good solution.
