They are staying at their default of "2" days. The overal ad duration can still be changed so it's no problem going longer. No workaround for the present, will release a patch and update the -dev branch soonish.

Actually there is a workaround - changing the overall ad duration up or down also changes the per taxonomy duration so you still have complete control of default ad durations, just not per taxonomy. This is a silly little bug - the system variable names were tweaked in preparation of allowing external taxonomy default durations (based around a vid/tid combo rather than just the hardcoded classified ads vid) and there is a typo in there somewhere.
