I found myself in an absolutely mysterious situation:

Commenting is open for Anonymous. As an Anonymous submits a comment, it is transmitted to the server, stored in the base (afaic, correctly), but not seen on the page, where it is supposed to be nor on the "Admin->Comments (->Approval queue)".

The theme is Garland (default). Anonymous have the privilegies to post comments.

It seems to me I have checked and double-checked everything I could figure out. Feeling desperate...

Any ideas?

Its possible to disable comments on the them selection menu I think so maybe check that to make sure they're enabled, other than that I'm not sure.. have you done any modifications to your theme?

Yes, they are enabled. And - as for theme - I thought about that possibility and made Garland the default theme. That is, currently the issue of the theme can be ruled out.
