We are an NGO working in the educational field and are based in Doha – Qatar. We are launching a project aiming at integrating 2 different web sites, develop and redesign a full new web portal for the organization.
We are currently building the team who will be working on this project and are looking for:
1) A strong web developer as full time employee
2) A webmaster as full time employee
3) Strong web developers for 3 to 6 month contract
4) Various services in specialized technical fields.
The timeframe of the project is from 6 to 9 months aiming to officially launch the web portal during the first quarter of 2010. The project will continue afterwards and the web site will evolve after the official launch. The first 3 months, starting in July/ August 2009, will include internal assessment, needs analyses and overall design. Some of the more technical requirements are already identified and will also start during the 3 first months and continue afterwards. Skills and experience:
• 2-3+ in the field of web development
• MySQL, PHP CSS: strong knowledge and experience required
• Drupal 5 and 6 knowledge and experience with Various modules
• Theming and module development experience
• Javascript experience
• Basic Apache experience (xampp)
• Knowledge of other Open Source software like PhPBB, moodle, civicCRM would be a an advantage
