once approved, avatar doesn't appear in profile

Just recently noticed that once an avatar is approved, the user's profile wrongly shows the default avatar, rather than the one they picked. I have to go in as admin, edit the profile, and re-select the avatar that the user had chosen. Note this only applies to avatars on the site; if the user uploads one and it is approved, it shows up as expected.
