Talk tab that creates forum threads for wiki pages

Good afternoon,

I'm setting up a community website with an integrated wiki (by hijacking the book content type) and so far, I am quite impressed with Drupal.

I tried to realize my project before with TikiWiki but gave up because everything needed custom tweaking to render it user-friendly and not alienate users with an overly technical interface. Luckily, I then came across Drupalwhich offers everything I need and even though the wiki functionality seems to be more of an workaround than an intended use, I actually expect it to be easier for my non-technical users to contribute.

However, in TikiWiki, there was the option to not only have a talk page for wiki pages, which is also possible in Drupal with cwgordon7s talk module, but additionally to automatically create threads in a designated subforum.

I did my part of googling and searching the forums, but I could not come up with a similar option in Drupal.

Has somebody done this before? Is there a way to assemble this functionality using existing options and modules?

If there isn't, I would be glad for any pointers on how to do this in the most straightforward way. All this would have to do is to create a forum thread in a specified subforum on the first click on the tab and after that link to the created forum thread.

Thanks for your help!

Regards from the Baltic Sea,

Basanta
