Description

Hi Vadim,

Would you recommend using smf or phpbb3, given you know them very well.

I noticed that the phpbb3 bridge is more up to date.

Thanks in advance.

cheers
Ed

Hi,

It depends on your demands.
SMF free but not under GPL.
phpBB is under GPL.
For me SMF is more convenient and has some features I like.
SMF module will be updated when SMF2.0 will be released, but not all cool features from phpBB module will be ported from phpbb version and developed in first release.

Thanks Vadim,

There does not seem to be much development on the SMF 1.15 bridge.

Does that mean it is fairly stable compared to phpbb3.

Thanks
