Select Image Gallery Missing in Batch Import

I've used this before successfully, but not recently. When I go to Image Import, I don't see the box to select an Image gallery for the imported files. My memory tells me I used to be able to pick a gallery, with a dropdown box just above the Import button. Its not there any more.
The files do upload if I click on import, but aren't associated with an Image Gallery, or if they defaulted someplace, I'm not sure which one.

I have exactly the same issue. Hopefully someone has a comment on how to solve this and a suggestion now ho to add images to a gallery.

This problem is resolved for me. Sorry for any confusion, but somehow in Taxonomy, Image Galleries were no longer associated with the content type "Image". I checked that and all was back to normal. Not sure how it got toggled off, but works now.

In Taxonomy I connected the Image Galleries to Image and now all works fine again.
