Hi

I have confidence that this will eventually work for me ... so I was wondering.
Can we have an option to promote to a "page" other than the front page? My front page is busy with articles. I would like an easy resources page that holds the disk nodes.

This is beyond the scope of this module.
Besides, you could get a similar behavior using the taxonomy.

sorry to bug you again.

I thought I understood your comment about using the taxonomy. Now, I am not so sure. If you have a specific idea or process you can share, that would be great. I am a newbie to this system.

Just create a vocabulary (administer -> categories), assign it to the disknode type, add some terms

Then when creating a disknode select a term from the category. You can then list all nodes in that term via the url

http://example.com/?q=taxonomy/term/[term number]

Using the taxonomy you can create categorized pages of nodes. I did this for all my disknodes:

I used category with a hierarchy creating a nice tree with node entries.

note, I used the taxonomy_menu module to create the nice folding menu that displays the category hierachy
