I am not sure if anyone is currently maintaining this module or if the focus is shifting to another module.

I have found that while og mandatory groups removes the link to leave a group from the og or og/all group list, it does not remove the link from the My groups page allowing users to unsubscribe from a mandatory group.

Is there a setting I am overlooking?

If the link works at all, that seems like a problem. I haven't been using this module myself, so it hasn't gotten much attention recently.

Yes, unfortunately the unsubscribe link does work when it appears on the My Groups page, and that is a problem.

Sorry for this being an ancient case, but I wanted to follow up. This seems like a fairly bad bug, so I will be looking into it soon. I'd be interested in hearing if you still use the module, etc.

Yes we are still using the module. But, it has been a while since we encountered the issue and I cannot give a good explanation of what was done. We may have removed a field from the view or may have filtered the view to exclude the mandatory group. I don't really know at this time.

I am also wondering now if it would have made a difference if the mandatory group was an open or closed group? Sorry I don't have time to delve into this further right now.
